Jul 2013

The germination of concepts

Founders Ning Wong and Gong Cheng became friends in college and developed a strong interest in lighting design together. Subsequently, simple lighting prototypes were produced on campus and encouraged by classmates and professors.

Aug 2016

Efforts in the initial stage

After in-depth research, Ning Wong and Gong Cheng have successfully obtained a small amount of seed funding for prototype production and initial market

The formal establishment of the company

After repeatedly improving the design and collaborating with suppliers, they have finally developed a unique and innovative lighting product. For better development, Ning Wong and Gong Chenghave officially registered their own company and named it “KunWhale Technology”
